Greetings from San Diego

Our new version has only been in the App Store for one week and we’ve already launched in a new city; sunny San Diego! Now in four cities, we’re excited to be live in Southtown with 220 spaces at over 40 locations with more to come. The best part is, these spots are all FREE!

Similar to San Jose, the City of San Diego has designated motorbike street parking with painted spaces, concentrated near the center of the city at no cost to motorbikers. There are also a few outliers in Balboa park near the zoo and botanical building as well as in the Park West and Harborview neighborhoods. While these spots are all free, we recommend you read signs carefully for no parking times. For more general info on parking in San Diego visit sandiego.gov/parking.

We’ve also tagged nearly 30 biker-friendly businesses in the SD area like ScooterWest and Motozone. You can find them all in the app pinned with an orange “B,” but if we’re missing a business you’d like to see, shoot us a note to info@curbninja.com.
